Winter Sale Picks

Hi everyone, we hope you all had a fabulous Christmas. Is it just us or did it go by in a whirlwind?! We had a lovely time and we're really enjoying the break and cosy time at home. We have yet to venture out to the sales, but we have rounded up our top 5 online picks below!

As we mentioned in our Summer Sale round-up, we always try and focus on staple pieces that will easily blend in with pieces you already own. Look out for quality materials like cashmere, wool and leather. Bags, shoes and boots make for the best sale purchases as they can easily transform the look of any outfit. You can't go wrong with a luxurious cashmere sweater or a classic coat that can be worn season after season. At this time of year, it's also nice to invest in some nice skincare or body care sets. At home pampering is the best way to beat those January blues and recover from the madness of the festive season :)

Rituals Tao Collection Gift Set was €38.50, now €26.95
Lucy Nagle Cashmere Sweater was €255 now €127.50
Diane Von Furstenberg bag was €170 now €119
Zara boots  were  €69.95 now  €49.99

Lustrous Christmas | The Glitter Edit

The countdown is seriously on! Can you believe it's only one week to Christmas Eve?!
With plenty of festive gatherings in the diary, a little sparkle is essential to ensure you shine bright :)

From cute clutches to full on sequins, a touch of glitter makes for a gorgeously glamorous holiday look. I'm like a magpie when it comes to sparkle and these three pieces caught my eye at the recent Littlewoods Ireland Christmas event.

A statement top is perfect for dressing up a simple pair of faux leather leggings. I love this V by Very one - the cape sleeves make it so easy to throw on for instant glam.

This Lipsy number is a glitter girl's dream - the photo doesn't do the super sparkly effect justice! It's a lovely piece for New Year's Eve. And yes, you will leave a trail of glitter behind!

Last but not least, this shiny box clutch is ideal for elevating a simple black dress. The tassel detail adds a nice edge too!

Are you a fan of sparkle for the party season? Let us know in the comments below!

The Christmas Table

One thing I look forward to every year is planning the Christmas table decor:) Now I have learnt over the years that keeping it simple is best-after all you have to leave plenty of room for the food and drink!

Here are a few of my favourite looks to inspire and add some festive cheer to the table for this year:)

I have used greenery with white flowers before and loved how fresh it looked!

A splash of traditional red is always so pretty at this time of year! I love the layered linen here also:)

If you want a more natural and rustic look, this branch, pine cone and white candle centerpiece would look fab!

A scandinavian style with touches of grey and white keeps the table clean, simple and fresh looking...

Images 1,2,4,5 and lots more table decorating ideas can be found here

I'm sure everyone has their own favourite style and colours for the big day but I hope you gathered a little bit of new inspiration here today:)

Have a good week:)

A Christmas night with Littlewoods

We were delighted to be invited to a lovely evening with Littlewoods Ireland last week to preview their current Christmas collection:) The event was held in the fabulous Dean Hotel on Harcourt street and from the moment we arrived, we got into a wonderful festive mood!

With a glass of bubbly in hand we were free to peruse the gorgeous rails of clothes and accessories and pick three items to bring home!! I had a really hard job choosing between all the glitz and sparkle on display, but could not resist a beautiful beautiful faux fur scarf and this sparkly glitter envelope clutch will be the perfect party accessory over the festive season!

Clutch

I have already worn the faux fur scarf over my leather jacket going out shopping the other day, it kept me so warm on such a damp and windy day:)

Faux fur scarf

I was a bit undecided between a sequin top or dress for my third piece but in the end I chose this faux fur berry gilet - the perfect layering piece for fun days out over the holidays!
You can shop these pieces and lots of other great festive looks here

Hope you are all having a good week and getting organized for Christmas!

My new living room couches have arrived, so at last I can finish the decorating:)

Take Care:)

Lustrous Christmas | Gifts for Home

Hi everyone, hope your week is off to a good start :)

Our next Gift Guide is full of  fabulous pieces we have selected for the home lover this Christmas.

Scent is always a winner and these Rituals fragrance sticks come highly recommended - they set a lovely mood to any room and last for months too! We couldn't resist the gold accents on this beautiful M&S candle and the bell cloche atop the Paul Costelloe candle makes it extra special.

Keeping with Paul Costelloe, we adore his 'Ladies' collection and these side plates are just so pretty! A monogrammed mug from Anthropologie is also a must have alongside a luxury set of coasters from Zara.

On to living and a snuggly throw and matching cushion are perfect gifts to guarantee ultimate cosiness throughout the holidays and beyond :)

Hope you enjoyed our round up!

Happy Sunday to all - hope everyone had a good weekend!
The weeks are flying by now and the big day will be here before we know it!

Here are a few shiny bits from our week:)

We enjoyed a lovely evening with Littlewoods Ireland in the Dean Hotel Dublin on Tuesday to celebrate their stunning Christmas collection :)

Ladies night out in Bouchon Naas-the food was amazing and the desserts were to die for!

On Friday, I had a little housewarming in the new apartment. Decorating it for Christmas has been so much fun!

I wore an old favourite sparkly jumpsuit for the occasion teamed with my new Penneys red heels.

Sunday mornings are all about Christmas pjs and lots of tea :)

Have a great week ahead.

Winter white decor...

I'm sure everyone is in full Christmas decorating mode now that December is here! I am a bit behind myself this year, as I am waiting on new couches to be delivered so I can't put up a thing in the living room until they arrive! I love all seasonal colours but one palette that keeps coming up on my Pinterest feed is winter white and it always looks so cosy and inviting!

These are a few of my favourite inspiration photos:)

Love the neutral tones blending together so well here....

A beautiful winter white floral display....would add a bit of festive cheer to any corner of the room.

A very simple but beautiful arrangement and one I might steal. I'm looking for a mini pre-lit tree but these bare branches in a vase look so good also!

A lovely decorative mantel display

Love these white lanterns-they would look fab grouped together with planters in a porch...

So lots of lovely inspiration here-I'm definitely in the mood for a little more decorating now!

Hope you are all having a good week:)
